Falcon 900B Private Jet
We were hired to wrap the cabinetry, doors, and bulkheads in a Falcon 900B private jet. Even though the high-gloss burly maple was in mostly good condition, the owners of this private jet wanted to update the look of the wood surfaces without having to pay for all new custom-fabricated pieces. This project used 3M Di-Noc Oxidized Metal ME-1685. Below you can see a walkthrough of what the interior looked like with the original finish, and after-photos of the new metallic finish. Overall, installation took about 110 hours over 11 days. This is actually a bit quicker than was originally anticipated - the customer had almost-completely stripped the interior of the plane, allowing Randy to wrap the lion's share of everything you see in the open space of the hanger, rather than in the confines of the plane. Between 1.5 and 2 rolls of material was used in total. Randy shot a few close-up pictures of some of the more-detailed elements below.
